The Jimmy Carter Library and Museum offers a close look at the life, presidency, and lasting influence of America’s 39th president. Set on 35 acres of landscaped grounds, including a Japanese garden, the library holds over 40 million pages of documents, 1 million photographs, and thousands of hours of film and video, making it one of the most comprehensive presidential archives in the country.

Exhibits explore Carter’s time in office and beyond, featuring a full-scale Oval Office replica, a walk-through Camp David Accords exhibit, and a 13-foot panoramic “Day in the Life of the President” experience. An interactive map table follows Carter and Rosalynn’s global humanitarian efforts, while artifacts, rare documents, and rotating displays offer deeper insight into his leadership and policies.

Blending history, diplomacy, and public service, the museum captures the story of a president whose impact reached far beyond Washington.
