Cleveland Arcade

A couple steps into the Old Arcade in Cleveland will make you feel as if you’ve been transported into a different time- and you have. The magnificence of this 5-story Victorian-era arcade with 300-foot glass skylight is simply stunning. It first opened in 1890, became a National Historic Landmark in 1975, and in 2001 was redeveloped as the Hyatt Regency hotel.

Thankfully the first 2 floors of the atrium are still open to the public: grab a bite at the food court, do some shopping, and admire one of the earliest indoor shopping centers in the United States.
