Established in 1977, C. Grimaldis Gallery holds the distinction of being Baltimore’s longest continually operating art gallery. Initially focusing on local and regional artists, the gallery soon expanded its scope to include significant international figures such as Grace Hartigan, Elaine de Kooning, and Sir Anthony Caro.

Specializing in post-World War II American and European art, with an emphasis on contemporary sculpture, C. Grimaldis Gallery has been instrumental in launching and sustaining the careers of numerous artists. Notable exhibitions have featured works by John Baldessari, Willem de Kooning, Robert Rauschenberg, Richard Serra, and John Waters.

The gallery continues to be a cornerstone of Baltimore’s art scene, offering a dynamic space where art enthusiasts can engage with both established and emerging talents.
