Start at the visitor center for your map, then follow the ramp to the east wall for the best harbor vantage. Time your visit for a flag raising or lowering—the ranger talk turns the place into a story you’ll remember.

For a slower visit, circle the star-shaped ramparts clockwise and watch ships move in and out of the Patapsco.

Opening in 1994 as the first two-team Major League Baseball spring training facility, Peoria Sports Complex set the standard for the Cactus League experience. Home to the San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners, this 145-acre venue has hosted baseball’s top talent for decades, drawing fans eager to see future stars up close. With 12 full-sized practice fields, a modernized main stadium, and an intimate fan experience, Peoria Sports Complex offers one of the best atmospheres in spring baseball.
